Percolator (2-8 Cup)

Disappointed with Farberware
I purchased this percolator approximately 2 years ago. About a month ago, the coffee was not hot enough when the percolation cycle had finished. Just this past week, the percolation process ceased entirely. Of course, the product is beyond the 1 year warranty coverage. I use this percolator once daily for my morning cup of coffee. I am very disappointed with the quality of this product. I had purchased a 12 cup percolator (same Brand and model) 30 years ago that is still functioning. I tried to contact Farberware by an email address that was provided in their product brochure to provide them with feedback on their product. The email could not be delivered. After trying to contact the company to get a current email, I was directed to a call center that handles their complaints. I would rethink purchasing another Farberware percolator.

Percolator
I had the same experience with this percolator. It worked great for a year and then the heating element went out. Maybe you have to buy their top of the line percolator for it to last longer.

Not the product it use to be
Well sad to say I have used Faberware electric coffee pots for over 15 years. I still have a functioning 8 and 12 which are over 9 years old and still work great. The last 3 I purchased lasted about 14 months all purchased on Amazon. The last one purchased on Amazon lasted 6 months and though the warranty is a year they informed me how to clean it correctly. I am so disappointed in both the product and Faberwares' handling of the situation I will no longer purchase any of their products.
