I bought it at Costco, then read the reviews!
I made the mistake of reading the reviews AFTER we came home with the vacuum. Needless to say, we consider boxing it up and returning it. We decided to take the leap of faith and try it out. It seems to work like a champ. I tried the implements, and tried it on hard surfaces and on carpet. This vacuum sucks like a porn star. I don't understand why the prior review are so poor. I guess if I had to name a drawback, it would be that it is a little loud. Our other vacuum is a Dysn DC17 Animal, and this rivals it in every respect. For those with clogging problems I don't know what to say. This thing is sucking up beach sand, crap off my work boots, dog hair, girlfriend hair (even worse than log hair, lol) and still devours dirt like a black hole. I actually vacuumed my two bedroom apartment with this immediately after the Dyson went over it and had to empty it twice. That says a lot. As for hose problems, if you can't get the hose back in without kinks and twists I have to ask if you have trouble operating doorknobs as well. I even looked it over when I...
