KitchenAid KHM720OB 7-Speed Digital Hand Mixer, Onyx Black

New, But Like It Better than Cuisinart
I bought this after having tried the Cuisinart last week. I didn't like the noise and the splattering of the Cuisinart. Made mashed potatoes and seemed to labor. So, I returned it and got this.

Used it on a cake mix first. Granted, that's not as hard as potatoes. However, it was so quiet, so smooth, no splatters -- not even on the bottom of the mixer. Will update after I've used it for a while, but much happier with this than the Cuisinart.

One complaint about all of them. The wire beaters. That's more of a whisk than a beater in my opinion.

Great Mixer
Bought this for my wife. She loves it, and it is powerful enough to save me from having to lift up the big mixer!

Complete Junk!
Have used Kitchenaid appliances for years and I truly love my stand mixer. When my cheapy hand mixer bit it......I decided on the kitchenaid hand mixer to replace it. I was a bit nervous to order it, because of reviews, but I know the Kitchenaid reputation and thought it would be fine. BOY was I WRONG! Received it and was so excited. Nice sturdy design and the looks are sleek and nice. When I plugged it in to use it the beaters grated together and made a terrible noise. I promptly turned it off to put it back in the box to return it and low and behold the beaters will NOT eject......manually or with the eject button! A royal piece of junk. I am so disappointed. What ever happened to quality control and testing? My $20 no name mixer was 10 times better. What a bummer!
